As a taster for what is planned over the New Year in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Oasis pavilion has been welcoming visitors in Alicante over the past week; where the Volvo Ocean Race teams are in port preparing to start the 39,000 mile round the world race. The first leg is due to commence on the 5 November from Alicante to Cape Town. The second 5,300 mile leg will then bring the teams to Abu Dhabi arriving on the 30 December for a New Year celebration to remember.

Well we did it!
Regional winner at the Routes Airport Marketing Awards for Asia, and overall winner as the world’s best Airport Marketing Team.
Thanks to all our airline partners who supported us.
We have a great team here in Abu Dhabi and it is definitely the place to be.

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) will be awarded five prestigious ‘Stevie’ trophies at the 8th International Business Awards (IBA) this year.
The awards will be presented at a gala event on Tuesday, 11 October at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The winners have been selected from more than 3,000 entries received from 40 countries.

If your visiting London over the next week and find yourself on Regent Street, take the time to visit the National Geographic store who are hosting a photographic exhibition dedicated to Abu Dhabi’s culture, heritage and cosmopolitan lifestyle. The exhibition will showcase the unique natural environment and rich cultural heritage that can be experienced in Abu Dhabi, and show why it is becoming a favourite destination of travelers worldwide.
